10-Veld field-howitzer

The 10-veld gun, actually an intermediate between a field gun and a field howitzer, was a very capable Bofors gun, first purchased in 1926 by the Dutch army. These 10,5 cm rapid fire guns were capable of delivering their deadly loads over no less than 16,000 m. The 52 available guns were divided over four artillery battalions. Each of the four Army-corpses had one of those battalions. They were used for counter-artillery fire in particular.
