The red dots represent several German positions during the four days' battle here. To the south the two Moerdijk bridges of which the left one was the traffic bridge.

Not on the map, but situated across the water to the west, the positions of the Group Kil. North of Papendrecht [top of the map] was Alblasserdam, where the Dutch and German troops held each other occupied around the large traffic bridge. Rotterdam is positioned to the northwest of this situation map scope.
