German Pz.IV tank - may 1940

The Pz.IV was the heaviest tank the Germans used in 1940. It was poorly armoured [30 mm max.] but equipped with a short barrelled gun of 75 mm.

This picture was taken somewhere in the Netherlands during the May War. The Pz.IV proved vulnerable to Dutch AT guns. Quite a number were lost at Dordrecht and the south of Rotterdam.
