German progress in the period 10-30 May 1940 in the south of Holland - may 1940

This dynamic situation map shows the German progress [red lines with dates] in the period 10-30 May 1940 in the south of Holland, Belgium and northern France. It clearly shows the ever decreasing radius of the encircled Allied forces in Belgium. The German progress lines also indicates why Zeeuws-Vlaanderen kept so long unoccupied by the Germans. The dotted black arrow-line is an indication of the several Dutch groups of military refugees who travelled through France and Belgium. The position of the tragic SS Pavon incident is also indicated.
